Helen Krajewski of Florida, NY, a retired Nurses Aid from Orange County Residential Health Care Facility, Goshen, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at The Valley View Center, Goshen. She was 96. The daughter of the late Czeslaw and Pelagia Kawecki Osiecki, she was born on February 22, 1921 in Sussex, NJ. She was the widow of Matthew Krajewski. Helen was a member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church and St. Stanislaus Living Rosary Society Survivors include: 1 son; Alexander Krajewski; and her faithful dog, Ginger; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by 5 sisters; Lucy Koptula, Julia Wehrli, Tillie Giza, Alfreda Machnicki, Jenny Osiecki and 1 brother, Henry Osiecki. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 2nd from 2-4 & 7-9PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921. Funeral mass will be held 10AM Monday, April 3rd at St. Joseph's Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Pine Island, NY Memorial Contributions may be made to St Joseph's Church 14 Glenmere Ave., Florida, NY 10921 or Florida Fire Department, PO Box 600, Florida, NY 10921. The family would like to thank Sherry Jackson and the staff of Grand Ave Wing of the Valley View for the wonderful care they gave to mom and also to Heather Sacco, Director of Admissions at Valley View for her kindness.
