Richard L. Bowersox, Jr., 41, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 2, 2025. He was born on November 14, 1983 in Baltimore, Maryland, son of Richard L. Bowersox, Sr. and Sandra (Richmond) Bowersox.

Originally from Maryland, Rick previously resided in Warwick, NY where he was a baker for Shop Rite Grocery before moving to Masonville. Rick enjoyed fishing with his son and was a passionate Baltimore Ravens fan.

He will be missed by his wife, Dyana L. Bowersox and his son, Jacob Bowersox; father and stepmother, Richard Sr. and Angel Bowersox; stepfather, Rick Budd; sister, Mellissa Nelson and her husband, Greg; stepsiblings, Becky and Christopher; and sister-in-law, Ashley Bowersox and her children, Cole and Molly; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Rick was predeceased by his mother, Sandra Budd, and his brother, Brandon Bowersox.

A celebration of Rick’s life will be held Monday February 17, 2025 from 2-6 PM at T.S. Purta FH 690 Co. Rt. 1 Pine Island, NY 10969
