Wanda Herina of Rock Tavern, NY, entered into rest on Monday, April 29, 2025.  She was 78.

The daughter of the late Matthew J. Zielinski and Jean Lesniewski Zielinski, she was born on February 13, 1947 in Goshen, NY.

Wanda retired from Key Bank as a Branch Manager where she worked for over 50 years.

She is survived by her sister, Kathy Dembek and husband Fred of Walden, NY; niece, Jacqueline and her husband Jesse Huff of Athens, Maine; their children, great niece and nephew, Avery and Oliver; Aunt, Wanda Walters and husband Ted of Florida; cousin, Lori Allen and her husband Richard of Maine; sister-in-law, Jane Dolfini; along with niece and nephew, Kathy and Doug.

She was predeceased by her husband Andrew M. Herina.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6th from 9-11AM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.

A funeral mass will be held 11AM Tuesday, May 6th at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921. A private cremation will take place after the mass and a private burial in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Pine Island.
