The son of the late Bennie J. Dombal Sr. and Victoria Jashembowski Dombal, he was born on September 28, 1937 in Slate Hill, NY.

Bennie was a veteran of the US Marine Corps. He was a faithful member of Holy Cross Church, South Centerville.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joann Cole Dombal; son, Mark Dombal; son Kent Dombal and wife Susan; daughter, Karen Sutton; son, Paul Dombal and wife Ania; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey Craig Dombal.

Benny was a man of the land. He found joy and purpose in the simple, honest work of tending to his property and riding his beloved tractors.  Benny had a deep love for his dogs and horses.

As per his wishes, there will be no public visitation.

A funeral mass will be held 10AM Monday, June 2nd at Holy Cross Church, 626 County Road 22, Middletown, NY.

Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Pine Island, NY.
