Theresa R. Garrahan of Hillsborough, NJ formerly of Washingtonville, NY entered into rest on Monday July 14, 2025, she was 83.

The daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Amato she was born on September 26, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY.

Theresa was a retired clerk for Newburgh Auto Auction, Newburgh, NY.

She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Garrahan.

She is survived by her daughter Laura Kelly and husband Thomas and their sons Sean and Gregory; son Steven Garrahan and husband Kurt Drake and their son Cooper and daughter Coco; and her twin sister Barbara Lomonte.

Visitation will be held at T.S. Purta Funeral Home 22 Glenmere Ave., Florida, NY on Saturday July 19 from 9:30 am – 11:30 am with a funeral service at the funeral home at 11:30.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Washingtonville, NY.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
