Christopher Meehan, known by many as Chris, and Kippy by his family, passed away on August 28, 2025. He was 46 years old.

He was a devoted father, loving son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and a loyal friend.

Christopher’s spirit was playful and lighthearted. He had a big smile, an even bigger laugh, and loved to make others laugh — always quick with a joke or a big story. His big personality and kind nature made people feel instantly welcome. If you met him, you’d never forget him. 

Christopher will be remembered for his gentle heart, humor, and unwavering love for his family and friends.

A big kid at heart, he had a lifelong love of drawing, sports, Transformers, video games and remote control cars. He also enjoyed REAL cars. 

Over the course of the last 25 years Christopher built a career in digital sales and marketing. 

But his proudest role — the one he loved the most — was being a father to his two sons, Logan (10) and Lucas (8). His love for them was immeasurable, and he truly cherished every moment he had, cheering them on, playing, and laughing together.

Christopher is survived by his sons Logan and Lucas; mother, Renee (Weslowski); father, Michael; sister, Jessie; sister-in-law, Elizabeth; nephew, Jackson; and godmother, Joann. 

He was pre-deceased by his grandparents — Adam and Rose Weslowski of Warwick, NY; and John and Janet Meehan of Nanuet, NY. Growing up on the black dirt of Warwick, Christopher is the fifth generation of Weslowski, Filipowski and Kerstanski families to be buried locally in Orange County.
