It is with heavy hearts that we announce Willam R. Burke (Bill) of Chester, NY has passed away on July 26, 2025 on his travels home from visiting his mother in the state of Florida. He was 50 years old. His loss has left a deep void in our lives, and we are devastated by this sudden goodbye.  

Bill was kind, generous, full of laughter, and caring. He was the kind of man that would give the shirt off his back or help anyone out no questions asked. Bill was someone who found peace by the water-whether casting a line or simply watching the waves roll in. His love for fishing and the ocean was only matched by the love he gave to those around him. 

He is survived by his mother Wendy Hoffman of Port Orange, Florida, His uncle Joey Hoffman and wife Becky, and his nephew Dillon Hoffman of Liberty, NY. Bill also loved and adored like daughters Skyla Castalonia of Chester,NY, Sheila Stach and niece Everleigh of Milford,PA, and his best friend of over 20 years Michelle (Missy) Castalonia of Chester,NY. 

Bill was predeceased by his loving grandparents Anna and Fred Horn. 

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday October 4, 2025 at 1:00pm at 15 Highland Avenue Florida, NY 10921.
