Frank O. Ford of Goshen, NY formerly of Westtown, NY, retired owner of Peaceful Valley Farm, Westtown, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. He was 87.
The son of the late Clarence Ford Sr. & Mary Weeden Ford, he was born on October 18, 1938 in Middletown, NY.
Frank was an exchange student when he was 16, where he traveled to Holland. He was a member of the Middletown High School Class of 1955; after graduating from high school Frank attended Cornell University. Frank was a 66 year member and Past President of the Rutgers Engine Company, Johnson, NY; D.H.I.A. Past President; and Past Chairman of the Town of Minisink ZBA.
Survivors include his daughters Melody DeBlock & husband Thomas of New Hampton; Julie Vavricka & husband Jess of Westtown; 5 grandchildren, Lindsey, Jill (Chris), Frank (Rachael), Jesse & Jake; great grandchildren Alexia, Charlotte, Adeline, Benjamin and Olivia; 2 sisters, Lois Schwab & Mary Ellen Calta; along with several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce Dembeck Ford; son, Frank O. Ford Jr. and brother, Clarence Ford Jr.
As per his wishes, there will be no services and cremation will be held privately.
The family would like to thank Dr. Dinsmore and the entire staff at Glen Arden Independent Living and the Healthcare Center for the care they gave to Frank.
