Karin Snyder of Unionville, NY, and formerly of Sugarloaf, NY, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. She was 77.

The daughter of the late Hans Jenssen-Tusch and Traute Arnoldt Jenssen-Tusch, she was born on September 17, 1948 in Goshen, NY. 

Karin went to high school at the Overseas American High School in Nurnberg, Germany.  She worked as a personal care aide for many years.  She was a woman of deep faith who enjoyed choir, church family, church retreats and helping others. She enjoyed playing cards, bible study, traveling, and most of all time with family and friends. She was known for her kindness to anyone she met.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Snyder;  her children: Maryann (Matt) Houston, Tanya (Ron) Rovner, and Keith (Jennifer) Snyder; and 7 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14 at 3:00 pm at Unionville Presbyterian Church in Unionville, NY followed by a memorial service at 4:00 pm.
