Obituary of Louis A. Jados

Louis A. Jados, 83, a lifetime area resident, passed away peacefully after a long illness. The son of the late Joseph and Katherine Gawlicka Jados, he was born March 28, 1933 in Florida, NY. Louis was devoted to his family, he adored his wife Joan, daughter Marie, his sons Joseph Sr. and Louis Jr. as well as his grandchildren. He never forgot his siblings, loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and driving his pickup around. In his illness his wife and children provided for his wellbeing and comfort. He was a gentle man and was easy to care for during his illness. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Lynn and Kerri. He established Jados Farms with his wife and sons. His wife Joan was a great part of this operation as the office manager. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Joan; daughter Marie Stanish and her husband John; son Joseph Sr. and his sons Jonathan and Jeffery; son Louis Jados Jr. and his wife JoAnn and their daughters Kristen and Emily; sisters Josephine J. Lyons and Florence R. Jados; daughter in law Joan; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Anton Jados, sister Katherine Jados Warren and grandson Joseph Jr.. Visitation will be held at T.S. Purta Funeral Home 690 Co. Rt. 1 Pine Island, NY on Wednesday August 17, 2016 from the hours of 5-8 pm. Funeral mass will be held 11 am on Thursday August 18, 2016 at St. Stanislaus Church 17 Pulaski Highway, Pine Island, NY Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
