Obituary of Willard H. Prediger

Willard H. Prediger Jr., "Bill" of Warwick, NY entered to rest on Friday, November 4, 2016. He was 68. The son of Loraine Winschel Prediger Timmerman & the late Willard H. Prediger Sr. He was born February 4, 1948 in Pittsfield, MA. Bill was a tenured insurance adjuster. His passion to learn and to teach made him easily liked by work colleagues, friends & family. He was an avid reader, always attributing his worldly knowledge to reading the daily paper. Bill was a craftsman, a hobby stamp collector, golf & hockey aficionado & culinary foodie. He is survived by his two children; son and daughter in law Devin and Yunyska Prediger; daughter and son in law, Kelsey and Ken DiLorenzo. He is also survived by his two granddaughters, Maria and Anna Prediger; beloved sister and best friend Theresa Karlewicz and brother in law, Donald; sister, Diane Filkins; brother Mark Prediger; brother, Luke Timmerman and sister in law, Michelle; and nieces, Vanessa Karlewicz, Ashley Timmerman, Tracey Hatlee & Tammy Pallone; nephews, Christopher Karlewicz, Nicholas Timmerman & Clifford Pfeiffer. Visitation will be held Wednesday November 9th from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida NY 10921. Funeral service will be held 11AM Thursday, November 10th at the funeral home. Following the funeral service, cremation will be held privately.
