Marcella LaPenna of Middletown, NY entered into rest on Sunday March 19, 2017 in Park Manor Rehabilitation Center, Middletown, NY. She was 77. Born one of seven children to the late Frank Regelski Sr. and Estelle Zawaski Regelski, she was born on October 8, 1939 in Florida, NY. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Schlag Berg; 2 sons Ron Schlag and wife Cindy; and Anthony LaPenna; grandson, Conner Berg; granddaughters, Elizabeth and Victoria Schlag; great grandchildren ;sister Barbara Myruski and husband Clyde; brothers Ronald Regelski and wife Linda; and Kenneth Regelski; sister in law, Jacqueline Regelski; her loving niece Michele Kessler & husband Peter and their son Peter; nephew, William Wilson & wife Cheryl; nephew Raymond Regelski; niece Beth Piskorowski & husband Jonathan, niece Maureen Jacobsen & husband Larry and several other nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony "Tippy" LaPenna Sr., brothers, Frank Regelski Jr. & Richard Regelski and his wife Dorothy; and her sister, Roberta Regelski and her nephew, Frank Regelski III. Visitation will be held on Thursday March 23, 2017 from 9-11am at the T.S. Purta Funeral Home 22 Glenmere Ave. Florida, NY 10921. Funeral Mass will be held 11AM at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921. Burial will be in St. Josephs Cemetery, Florida, NY.
