Anna Mollo, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017, surrounded by her loving family, at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY
She was born the second of seven children to the late August & Antoinette Bellino in Bronx, NY. Anna was the widow of Frank J. Mollo, the love of her life, who passed away April 1977.
Anna was a very loving, selfless, gentle woman completely devoted to her family. She was a member of the Chester Golden Age Club and had been a longtime volunteer at Arden Hill Hospital.
Anna is survived by her loving children: Mollie Pikul and her husband Stan of Wilmington, NC; Ralph Mollo and his wife RoseMarie Borghese of Sugar Loaf, NY; Charlotte Mollo and her husband Walter McGrath of Goshen, NY; grandchildren Stan Pikul Jr. and his wife Nathalie of Jacksonville, FL and Debra Stephens and her husband Larry of Atlanta, GA; her great granddaughter Anne Marie Pikul of Jacksonville, FL. Survivors also include her nephew Joseph Mollo and his wife MaryBeth of Sarasota, FL and nieces Catherine and Regina Mollo of Yonkers, NY.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, John, Anthony, Carmine and Pat; sisters Tess and Ida and her nephew Thomas Mollo.
Her family would like to extend their sincere gratitude for the many years of excellent and compassionate medical care given to their mother by Sal DeVincenzo, M.D., David Ellis, M.D., Elsa Pascual, M.D. and Viral Sheth, M.D. They would also like to thank their mother's wonderful and dedicated caregivers; Terri, Jeanette, Farah and Leny.
In accordance to Anna's wishes there will be no visitation.
A funeral memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 14 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10AM Wednesday, July 26th. Officiant will be family friend, Reverend Joseph Tokarczyk.
Burial will be private.
