Lucille Frances Sicina, formerly of Florida, NY passed away peacefully on March 25, 2017 at age 94 while residing at Rex Nursing Care, Raleigh, NC. She retired from Orange Farms/Valley View Nursing Home as a Nurses' Aide. While in Florida, NY, she attended St. Joseph Church and was a past member of the Altar & Rosary Society.
She was predeceased by her parents, Anton & Caroline Ruszkiewicz; loving husband, Barney (Sparky); siblings, Anthony, Frank & John Ruskiewicz, Marie Eisner, Betty Fuselli; and dear friend, Bruce Emery.
Survivors include sons, Ronald (Barbara) of Jackson, GA and James (Christine) of Raleigh, NC; daughter, Linda (Jerry) Hagadorn of Naples, FL; sisters, Jean Sosler of Vero Beach, FL and Frances Wanczyk of Florida, NY; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Kevin, Craig Sicina, and Kelly Stewart; ten great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mom was a loving Mother, wife, homemaker and friend to all she met. She will always be loved and forever missed.
Funeral Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 5th 1PM at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921. Burial of cremains to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY.
