Obituary of Leona R. Coleman
Our loving mother, Leona R. Coleman, of Florida, NY, peacefully entered into rest at home on December 15, 2017. She was 91 years old.
The daughter of the late Joseph Tomcho & Stella Klepadlo, she was born on September 20, 1926 in Dickson City, PA.
She was a member of St. Joseph Living Rosary Society & the Golden Floridian Senior Citizens.
She was a devoted and caring mother and grandmother. Her great grandchildren adored her and referred to her as their beloved GG. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
She is survived by son, Ken Coleman, Florida, NY; daughter, Kathy Weslowski & husband Tom of Warwick, NY; daughter, Karen Ritter & husband Andy of Tampa, FL; 5 Grandchildren, Brian Weslowski & wife Kathy of Brandywine, MD; Amy Introini & husband Ronnie of Warwick, NY; Anne Hurley & husband James of Long Island City, NY; Tyler Ritter of St. Petersburg, FL and Abby Ritter of Tampa, FL; 4 great grandchildren, Matthew & Katie Weslowski and Sydney & Lexie Introini; sister, Rosalie Quinlan & husband Richard; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband John F. Coleman; sister, Stacia Palmer; 2 brothers, Joseph & Edward Tomcho.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18th from 3-7pm at the T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
A funeral mass will be held 10AM Tuesday, December 19th at St. Joseph Church, Florida, NY.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties for their compassionate care and spiritual comfort.
