Obituary of Siegfried Gruen

Siegfried Gruen of New Hampton, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at home.  He was 80.

The son of the late Albert Gruen & Hedwig Kling Gruen, he was born February 5, 1938 in Ludwigsburg, Germany.

He was a US Army Veteran and a 50 year member of the Masons.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Carolee Mohr Gruen; daughter, Dawn Ressa & husband John; daughter, Heidi Bricker & husband James; son, Albert Gruen; 4 grandsons, James Bricker, Dylan Bricker, Beau Ressa & Wyatt Ressa; along with a niece, Susanne Bennett and a nephew, William Snopik.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 6th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.

Memorial Service will be held 10AM on Tuesday, May 8th at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 95 Kings Highway, Warwick, NY 10990.  Burial will be held in Orange County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
