Obituary of James Edwin Wood

James Edwin Wood of Warwick, NY died at home on May 19, 2018.  He was 81.

The son of the late Herbert Wood & Florence Scofield Wood, he was born October 21, 1936 in Warwick, NY.  A lifelong Warwick resident, he was a retired railroader, carpenter, teacher, and Christmas tree farmer, as well as a lifelong beekeeper.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda M. Wood of 57 years; daughter, Susan W. Goodall & husband John; son, Mark C. Wood; 3 grandchildren, Kaitlin Wood, Judah & Asha Goodall. He leaves a sister, Jane Sanders and was predeceased by siblings Herbert Wood, Lois Ball and Lyle Wood. 

Cremation will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties or WDVX Radio in Knoxville, TN, where his grandson Judah hosts a weekly radio program.
