Obituary of William R. Majewski
William R. Majewski of Florida, NY entered into rest on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at ORMC, Middletown, NY. He was 86.
The son of the late William B. Majewski & Mary Marcin Majewski, he was born March 20, 1932 in Wallington, NJ.
He was a member of St. Joseph Church and its Holy Name Society, Florida, NY; US Army Korean Veteran where he was an aviation mechanic; member of the American Legion Post 1250, Florida, NY and PLAV Post 16, Pine Island; Pine Island Senior Citizens and a Life Member of the Orange County Antique Auto Club.
Survivors include his son, Mark Majewski & wife Melissa of Unionville; daughter, Suzanne Majewski Greenhill & husband John of Florida, NY; grandchildren, Michael, Patrick, Jenna & Megan; 4 sisters, Jean Majewski, Patricia Grippe, Lorraine Sehrt & Cynthia Braun; 3 brothers, Ernest, Richard & Anthony Majewski.
He was predeceased by his wife, Anna Weslowski Majewski
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 31st from 4-9PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida NY 10921. Legion services will be held 7PM followed by the Holy Name services 7:30pm at the funeral home.
Funeral Mass will be held 10AM Friday, June 1st at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Cemetery, c/o St. Joseph Church, 14 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
