Obituary of Charles Percuoco
Charles Percuoco of Florida, NY entered into rest on Sunday, June 3, 2018. He was 92.
The son of the late Oreste Percuoco & Carmela Rea Percuoco, he was born October 12, 1925 in Hoboken, NJ.
He was a WWII US Navy Veteran and was a member of the American Legion Post # 1250, Florida, NY.
Survivors include his daughter, Charlene Wielk & husband Michael; son, John Robert Percuoco & wife Susan; 4 grandchildren, Michele Szymanski & husband Thaddeus, Stephanie Mazzella & husband Anthony, Erin Garolis & Michael Garolis; 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Joan Gillett Percuoco and daughter, Denise Garolis; 2 brothers and a sister.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 7th from 3-5PM & 7-9PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921. Legion services will be held 7:15PM at the funeral home.
Funeral Mass will be held 10AM Friday, June 8th at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
Burial will be in Orange County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
