Miss Feagles, later Mrs. Brown, and eventually Liz was my Home Economics teacher at Minisink Valley. One Saturday in my junior year, she took another student and me to SUNY Oneonta where she was an alumni. We toured the campus and had lunch in the cafeteria. I fell in love with the campus and decided that was where I wanted to go to college. Following in her footsteps, I earned my BS in Home Economics Education and did my graduate work there in Oneonta. I went on to teach Home Economics for 32 years in the Goshen School District. Over the years Liz and I would talk at various conferences that we attended. I always considered her my mentor. My condolences to the family as you celebrate her life and grieve her loss. She will always hold a special place in my heart.
P.S. I enjoyed Roger too. He was my biology teacher.
