Obituary of Joan M. Jados

Joan M. Jados, 84, of Pine Island, NY, a lifetime resident, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Sunday, July 22, 2018.

The daughter of the late Leon C. & Mary Lisack Morgiewicz, she was born on May 29, 1934 in Goshen, NY.

In 1955, Joan married the love of her life Louis A. Jados Sr. They made their home in Pine Island, New York and established Jados Farms.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Marie Stanish; son, Joseph Sr. his son Jeffrey; son Louis Jados Jr. & his wife JoAnn and their daughters, Kristen Jados and Emily Jados-Myers & her husband Tim; daughter-in-law, Joan; sister, Bernadette Sidoti; brother, Leon J. Morgiewicz & wife Joan; sisters-in-law, Florence R. Jados and Josephine J. Lyons; along with several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, her brothers, Clarence & Raymond Morgiewicz; grandsons, Joseph Jr. & Jonathan Jados and son-in-law, John Stanish.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 24th from 6-9PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 690 County Route# 1, Pine Island, NY 10969.

A funeral mass will be held 11AM on Wednesday, July 25th at St. Stanislaus Church, 17 Pulaski Highway, Pine Island, NY.

Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Pine Island.
