Joan E. Naugle of Middletown, NY, entered into rest on Monday, August 6, 2018.   She was 69.

 

The daughter of the late John Martin & Agnes Donovan Martin, she was born on January 18, 1949 in Manhattan, NY.

 

She was an active volunteer at Bon Secours Hospital, Port Jervis, NY; and also a supporter of anything sports, especially her grandchildren’s sporting events.

 

She is survived by her son, David Fenner & wife Michelle; son, Daniel Fenner; stepson, Kenneth M. Naugle & husband Nicholas J. Carroll; stepdaughter, Nancy M. Naugle Palmer & husband Chris; 6 grandchildren, Andrew & Adam Fenner; Amanda Fenner, Joseph & Justin Schuk & Nicole Palmer; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Danny Martin & wife Mary Ann; 2 sisters, Ann Dowd & Carol Gihr; and several nieces and nephews.

 

She was predeceased by her husband Walter Naugle and brother Edward Martin.

 

Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, August 10th from 3-7PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 690 Co. Rt# 1, Pine Island, NY 10969.

 

Memorial service will be held 5PM Friday evening at the funeral home.  The family would like to invite those who would like to attend a repass to please come 7:30PM to the Westtown Community Center, 807 Route 284, Westtown, NY 10998.

 

As per Joan’s wishes, to help support her grandson’s sports clubs, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Minisink Valley Football & Wrestling Booster Clubs, PO Box 286, Slate Hill, NY 10973.
