Hilda "Gerda" Card of Florida, NY a retired Baker for ShopRite in Warwick, entered peacefully into rest on Monday, January 2, 2017 at home. She was 73.
The daughter of the late Heinz & Ruth Swoboda Hoefs, she was born on April 30, 1944 in Wolfsburg, Germany.
Among many of her hobbies, she was an avid quilter and belonged to both the Florida & Chester Quilting Guilds. In addition, she also enjoyed antiquing with her son Michael in New England.
She is survived by her husband Gary Card; son, Michael Card; daughter, Deborah Card; son, Christopher Card; sister, Renate Rennie; along with dear friends, Eileen & Bob Kelly.
As per her wishes, funeral arrangements will be private.
