William B. Cushing of Middletown, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. He was 82.
The son of the late Bennair Cushing & Marjorie Marshall Cushing, he was born May 4, 1934 in Pocatello, ID.
He was a US Navy Korean Veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Jacquie Taggart Cushing; 2 daughters, Alice Seibert & husband Douglas; Stephanie Cushing; son, Stephen Cushing; 3 grandsons, Stephen, Matthew & Kevin Cushing; 3 granddaughters, Cynthia Farrand & husband Kyle; Christine Seibert & Taylor; great granddaughter, Kensi Rae; 2 sisters, Karen Cheeseman & Jacqulyn Handt; along with several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Andrea L. Cushing.
Memorial visitation will be held Monday, January 23rd from 10am – 12:15PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
Graveside service will be held 1PM Monday, January 23rd at O.C. Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY 10924.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Veteran's Food Pantry, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY 10924.
