Josephine A. Pierce of Westtown, NY, entered into rest on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at home.  She was 70.

 

The daughter of Josephine Klecha Mydosh & the late Vincent Mydosh, she was born on July 31, 1948 in Sussex, NJ.

 

She was a member of the Slate Hill Pacers; Past President of the Middletown Gardener Lovers Club; and a member of the “Jersey Girls” Quilting club, Highland Lakes, NJ.

 

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Adam “Poncho” Pierce; son, Michael Pierce & wife Jennifer; grandson, Matthew Pierce; mother, Josephine Mydosh; brother, Edward Mydosh & wife Stacy; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Slater & Beverly Pierce; along with several nieces and nephews.

 

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 25th from 2-4 & 7-9pm at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 690 County Route# 1, Pine Island, NY 10969.

 

A funeral mass will be held 10AM Saturday, January 26th at St. Stanislaus Church, 17 Pulaski Highway, Pine Island, NY 10969.

 

Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Pine Island, NY.
