Obituary of Frances M. Gorish

Frances M. Gorish of Florida, NY, a retired Vice President of the Warwick Savings Bank, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.  She was 95.

The daughter of the late Frank Stankiewicz and Anna Harter Stankiewicz, she was born on May 15, 1927 in Warwick, NY.

Frances was a member of St. Joseph Church; Golden Floridian Senior Citizens; American Legion Post 1250 Ladies Auxiliary; and a longtime member of the Warwick Savings Bank Foundation.

She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Reed (Jay) of Modesto, CA; along with numerous, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Fred O. Gorish; 3 sisters, Clara Colletta, Martha Stankiewicz and Virginia Segal; and a brother, Joseph Stankiewicz.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 30^th from 3-6pm at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.

A funeral mass will be held 11AM on Tuesday, January 31^st at St. Joseph Church, Florida, NY.

Burial following the mass, will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY.
