The son of the late George and Ruth Smith he was born on September 28, 1934 in Kingston, NY.
He was the owner of George Smith Excavating.
He was a US Army Veteran.
George was predeceased by his wife Barbara Smith.
He is survived by his son Warren Smith & wife Leslie; daughters Karen Smith and Robyn Pister; grandchildren Brian, Jason and Joey.
He was predeceased by his son George Smith Jr.
A graveside funeral service and burial with military honors will be held 2 pm on Friday April 7, 2023 at Orange County Veterans Cemetery, 111 Craigville Rd., Goshen, NY 10924
