Obituary of Walter E. Bach

Walter E. Bach of Milton, Delaware, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.  He was 75.

The son of the late Earnest Anthony Bach and Elizabeth Helen Alberti Bach, he was born on June 23, 1948 in Orange, NJ.

Walter was a kind, simple, humble, generous man who was truly a gentleman.  He loved his family and they meant everything to him.  The close friends that he made became family.  He truly loved his Orthodox Christian faith.  He will be missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Claudia; daughter, Michele; sons, Walter, Richard and Timothy; grandchildren, Jessica, Kevin, Tyler and Logan; sister, Betsy and his brother-in-law, Steve; along with 2 beloved dogs, Schnitzel Marie and Dennis.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 27^th from 5-8pm at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Ave., Florida, NY 10921.

A funeral mass will be held 10AM Friday, July 28^th at St. Ignatius Antiochian Church, 75 North Main Street, Florida, NY 10921.

Burial will be held in George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew the Apostle Orthodox Church, 33384 MacKenzie Way, Lewes, DE 19958.
