Barry R. Summit of Florida, NY entered into rest on August 6, 2023, he was 73 years old.
The son of the late Helen Nowakowski he was born on January 14, 1950 in Freeport, NY.
Barry is a US Army Veteran and is a retired DPW Supervisor for the Village of Hempstead.
He is survived by his wife Patti at home; sons Travis, Matthew and Michael Summit; and his mother in law Ruth Traver.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 9, 2023 from 4-7 PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home 22 Glenmere Ave., Florida, NY.
Burial with military honors will be held 1 pm on Thursday August 10, 2023 in Orange County Veterans Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
