Melitta was born in Germany to Anna and Leopold Doll on December 22, 1924 and passed away on September 2, 2023. She grew up in New York and married Ray Tunquist on July 20, 1946. They owned and operated Doll Lumber & Veneer Company in Florida, New York for many decades. Her many talents included refinishing furniture, upholstery, writing poetry, and a great love of nature and reading. Survivors include her daughter, two grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Services are private.
