James M. Mattila of Middletown, NY entered into rest on Thursday January 24, 2024. He was 70.


The son of the late Eugene and Barbara Wundrock Mattila he was born on April 5, 1953 in Wakefield, MI.


James was an avid golfer, lover of the Green Bay Packers and a friend to many cats.


He was a retired mining equipment service technician for Atlas Copco.


He is survived by his wife Linda Mattila; son Jim Mattila; daughter AnnMarie Mattila & husband Andy Dsida; brother Mark Mattila & wife Jeanne; brother Bill Mattila & wife Candy; sister in law Geri Mattila; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was predeceased by his brother Gene Mattila.


Cremation will be held and a celebration of life will be announced at a future date.
