Jeanne C. Uszenski of Florida, NY, entered into rest on Monday, January 29, 2024. She was 78.

The daughter of the late Hugh F. Mulligan Jr. and Lillian Ohlson Mulligan, she was born on December 24, 1945 in the Bronx.

Jeanne diligently served on the Village of Florida Planning Board for many years. Her attention to detail was always her main priority. She was an active member of the Seward Seniors where she currently held the position of Treasurer. She also assisted her husband Bill with numerous tasks with the Florida Fire Department and the Florida Fire District, especially with the service award program. Jeanne shared her motherly love with everyone, especially Nicholas Noviski.

She is survived by her son, Daniel J. Uszenski at home; brother, John Mulligan; nieces, Virginia, Catherine and Marion Haskell; nephews, John Mulligan and Pat Uszenski; along with many special and beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, William P. Uszenski and her sister, Eileen Haskell.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1st from 2-5PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.

A funeral mass will be held 11AM Friday, February 2nd at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
