Obituary of Dennis MacWilliams

Dennis MacWilliams of Middletown, NY, entered into rest on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.  He was 55.

The son of the late Natalie Stanchio MacWilliams, he was born on October 23, 1968, in Manhasset, NY.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Doreen Kaczmar MacWilliams; daughter, Brittany MacWilliams (Evan Nicoletti); son, Dean MacWilliams and wife Samantha; 1 granddaughter, Lilith “Lil”; and one granddaughter on the way…Violet.

Dennis loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, Lily. He enjoyed taking rides on his motorcycle, being sure to stop at his children’s houses.  Dennis loved to coach football and lacrosse for his kids teams.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 1^st from 1-5PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.

A funeral mass will be held 9AM Monday, September 2^nd at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.

Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy.
