Nellie T. Helhoski of New Hampton, NY, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at home. She was 95. The daughter of the late Vincent Kozireski & Mary Stepnoski Kozireski, she was born on November 7, 1920 in the Town of Goshen, NY. Nellie was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church Florida, NY and Hudson Valley Polonaise Society. She is survived by her son, Sylvester V. Helhoski Sr. of Hillard, FL; Son, Ronald E. Helhoski (Donnalee) of Fort Myers, FL; grandchildren, Erica McGuire, Sylvester V. Helhoski Jr., Tracey L. Moore & David Helhoski; great grandchildren, Desiree Jensen, Kaylynn Sloat, Mya Helhoski, Reed Helhoski and Haviland B. Moore; great great grandchild, Vera Sloat ; many special nieces and nephews including Cecelia Kaleita, Louise Colotti, Jane Keller and Stanley Lupinski. She was predeceased by her husband Sylvester E. Helhoski; 5 brothers, Charles, Edward, Barney, Joseph & Fred Kozireski; 5 sisters, Lillian Matuszewski, Jennie Niski, Rita Lupinski, Helen Gurda & Stella Krawcyk. Visitation will be held on Monday February 29, 2016 from 9-11:00 am at T.S. Purta Funeral Home 22 Glenmere Ave. Florida, NY. A funeral mass will be held 11:30 am on Monday at St. Joseph's Church 20 Glenmere Ave. Florida, NY. Burial will be in Wallkill Cemetery, Phillipsburg, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Hudson Valley Polonaise Society PO Box 162 Goshen, NY 10924.
