Howard Burris Jr. of Goshen, NY, entered into rest on Monday, March 28, 2016. He was 80.
The son of the late Howard Burris Sr. & Alice DeGroat Burris, he was born on November 6, 1935 in Hackensack, NJ.
He was a US Army Veteran who served during Korea.
Survivors include his son, Howard Burris III & wife Debby of Florida, NY; son, Charlie Burris of Florida, NY; son, Matthew Burris of Florida, NY; son, Arlyn Burris & wife Kathy of Maine; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother, McArther Burris of Maybrook; sister Diane Hartman of Mahwah, NJ; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Eleanor DeGraw Burris; sons, Ralph & Brian.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 1st from 10AM – 12Noon at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
Burial will follow in Airmont Lutheran Cemetery, Suffern, NY.
