Obituary of Stephanie Kozlowski

Stephanie Mary Kozlowski of Pine Island NY, entered into rest on Wednesday September 7, 2016 at The Valley View Center, Goshen, NY. She was 94. The daughter of the late Benjamin and Stella Ugoroska Wierzbicki, she was born July 27, 1922 in Newark, NJ. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church Pine Island, NY. Throughout her life she was multitalented where she worked for Nabisco in Beacon, for Dr. Samuel Littenberg of Warwick and was a longtime produce farmer's wife before retiring from Orange County Home and Infirmary. Survivors include her 3 daughters, Rita Rose Morgan & her husband John of Andover, NJ; Veronica V. Blair & husband Carter Thomas of Virginia; and Loretta A. Lust and her husband George of Pine Island; 4 grandchildren, Candice L. Morgan of East Bangor, PA, Alexis Cibula of Franklin, NJ, Jonathan W. Lust of Pine Island, and Rebecca Lynn Lindland & husband Kyle of Warwick; Great granddaughter, Emma Rose Lindland. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph S. Kozlowski in 2004; brother, Frank Wierzbicki and a sister Helen Tufano. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 9th from 4-7PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 690 County Route# 1, Pine Island, NY 10969. Funeral mass will be held 10AM Saturday, September 10th at St. Stanislaus Church, Pine Island, NY. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Pine Island NY. The family would like to thank the staff of Couser D-100 of the Valley View Center, Goshen for the kind and compassionate care given to her for the last 8 years.
