Obituary of Mary Wrubleski

Mary Weslowski Wrubleski of Florida, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 07, 2017. She was 98. The daughter of the late John Weslowski & Mary Zagorski Weslowski, she was born on July 31, 1918 in Warwick, NY. Her life was guided by her devotion & loyalty to God, family, friends and community. She lived a hardworking life full & rich in steadfast determination in every task she undertook. May she rest in peace. She is survived by her son, Donald & girlfriend Vicky; daughter, Elaine; sister, Cecelia Walker; 2 brothers, Vincent & Casimir Weslowski; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Vincent; sister, Martha Bach; and the famous Weslowski brothers, John, Adam, Stanley, Lewis, & Leon. She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Florida, NY and its choir. She was also a member of the Banquet Hall Committee and the Parish Council; Past President of the Living Rosary Society of St. Joseph Church and a member of the Warwick Valley Chorale; and a Past Leader of the St. Joseph Girl Scouts. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 10th from 2-4 & 7-9pm at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921. A funeral mass will be held 10:00AM Saturday, February 11th at St. Joseph Church, Florida, NY. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church Restoration Fund, 14 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921. We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly. In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day that God called you home. You left us joyful memories your love is still our guide. And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
