Obituary of Joseph G. Torrisi

Joseph G. Torrisi of Middletown, NY owner of Torrisi's Agway entered into rest on Monday July 17, 2017. He was 69. The son of the late Joseph and Carmela Murabito Torrisi he was born February 29, 1948 in Goshen, NY. Joe was a self-made businessman who built his business from the ground up. Joe's greatest accomplishment was his family. He was a member of the NRA. Survivors include his wife Carol Urbanski Torrisi; Daughters Ashley Bodisch and husband Jim; Deanna Torrisi; his faithful companion Buddy, grand dogs Charlie, Jax & Louie; Brother in law Andrew Urbanski & wife Basha; niece Diana & husband Matt; nephew Andrew; many cousins & loyal friends. Visitation will be held Thursday July 20, 2017 4-8 pm at T.S. Purta Funeral Home 22 Glenmere Ave. Florida, NY 10921. Funeral mass will be held 10 am on Friday July 21 at St. Joseph's Church 20 Glenmere Ave. Florida, NY. Cremation will be held privately.
