Robert Louis Cooke of Florida, NY, formerly of Scranton, PA & Brooklyn, NY, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 4, 2017. He was 49.
The son of the late Eugene P. Cooke & Bertha Louise Geiger, he was born on August 20, 1968 in Staten Island, NY.
He was a 4th Degree Member of the Warwick Valley Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his daughter, Robyn Cooke Kolveck & son-in-law Matt; 2 granddaughters, Bella & Raelynn; 3 brothers, Patrick Cooke & wife Lisa; Trevor Cooke & wife Michele and Steven Cooke & wife Michelle; sister, Winnie Cuzzolino & husband Pete; 3 nieces, Colleen, Karen & Angelina and a nephew, Matt.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 8th from 2-4 & 7-9PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
Funeral mass will be held 10AM, Monday, October 9th at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY.
The family would like to thank Dr. Rachel Colvin, Dr. McDermott, Dr. Kanzijan, Dr. Lavian and the staff at Premier Dialysis Center, Harriman, NY for the special care and attention they gave to Robert during his illness.
