Joan Wojtaszek of Florida, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 in Smithfield Manor Nursing Home. She was 95.
The daughter of the late Anthony Kosior & Anna Lempka Kosior, she was born on November 11, 1914 in Goshen, NY.
She was the widow of Barney Wojtaszek.
She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Florida, NY & St. Joseph Church Living Rosary Society.
She is survived by: Daughter, Barbara Wojtaszek of Garner, NC, 2 Sons, Paul Wojtaszek & wife Rose of Garner, NC and Albert Wojtaszek & wife Alice of Pond Eddy, NY, 4 Grandchildren, James, Michael, Vincent and Christine. 3 Great grandchildren, Brandon, Aiden & Saige. And several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 29th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
Funeral mass will be held 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 30th at St. Joseph Church, Florida, NY.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Florida Fire Department & Rescue Squad, PO Box 600, Florida, NY 10921.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the T.S. Purta Funeral Home.
