Leo D. Grippe of Goshen, NY, a retired 38 year garage owner and auto mechanic in Florida, NY, entered into rest on Monday, November 15, 2010 in O.R.M.C. – Arden Hill Campus, Goshen. He was 81.
The son of the late Martin and Genevieve Grzyb he was born on June 10, 1929 in New Hampton, NY.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Janet at home; loving sister Martha Biondi and her husband Nick of GA; his children Bruce, Karen, and David and his wife Teresa; 5 grandchildren Leigh, Bryan, Daniel, Christopher and his wife Brittney, Kimberly Hayslip and her husband Forrest; 4 great-granddaughters Taylor, Kaylee, Leilani, & Chloe; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 17th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Ave., Florida, NY 10921.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 18th at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Slate Hill Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
