Mary P. Egan of Florida, NY, entered into rest on Thursday April 21, 2011 at home with family at her side. She was 73.
The daughter of the late Michael and Levinia Gallagher Healy she was born on January 13, 1938 in Manhattan, NY.
She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church Florida, NY.
She is survived by 5 children John Egan of Howell , NY ; Catherine Schvil of Youngsville, LI; Joseph Egan Plattekill, NY; Diane Malarsky, of Milford, Pa; and Patricia Egan of Florida, NY; Brother Michael Healy of Spring Hills Fl, Sister Virginia Green of Florida, NY ;16 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 25th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon at the T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
Funeral Mass will be held 12:00 noon on Monday April 25th at St. Josephs Church 20 Glenmere Ave. Florida, NY 10921.
Burial will be St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
