Frank V. Regelski Jr., of Middletown, NY, entered into rest on Saturday, June 25, 2011 in Toledo, OH. He was 77.
The son of the late Frank Regelski Sr. & Estelle Zawaski Regelski, was born on September 4, 1933 in Warwick, NY.
He was a Korean War Veteran and served his country in the Navy on the USS Cronin from 1951 – 54. He was also a former member of St. Joseph Church, Florida, NY, was a former member of the Benevolent Protection Order of the Elks# 1097, Middletown, NY & retired from Ford Motor Company & Sorrento Cheese, Goshen, NY. Our “Poppie” was a hard working man who before his illness in 1995, loved to garden, dance the polka and watch Yankee baseball! He fought to live for many, many years but he loved to watch his Yankee games & loved God and his family more than anything!
Survivors include: Loving wife, Jacqueline Sosler Regelski ; daughter, Maureen (Larry) Jacobsen; Grandchildren, Joseph & Linsi Jacobsen, Frank Regelski IV, Shawn(Allison) Davis, Meghan & Caitlin Davis; Great Grandchildren, Brady, Raegan, Isabella Mia, Keenan & Lillian; Brothers, Richard (Dorothy) , Ronald (Linda)& Kenneth Regelski; Sisters, Roberta Wilson, Marcy LaPenna and Susan (Clyde) Myruski. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles & friends.
He was predeceased by his beloved son, Frank J. Regelski III.
Visitation will be held on Friday July 1, from 7-9 PM and Saturday July 2, from 10 am – 11 am at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
Funeral Mass will be held 11:15 am on Saturday July 2, at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY.
