Frank Becz Jr. of Florida, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. He was 64.
The son of the late Frank Becz Sr. & Blanche Boguszewicz Becz, he was born November 27, 1946 in Belleville, NJ, a graduate of Rutgers University and Rutgers Law School.
Frank worked for Western Union as legal council and upon retirement he worked for Iron Mountain. He was a member of the Middletown Elks# 1097 and a Mason with the Goshen Lodge#365.
Survivors include beloved wife Sharon Long Becz at home, Florida, NY, sons, John Becz and fiancé Colleen Gove and daughter Ashley of New Hampton, NY, Adam Becz & wife Kasey of Danbury, CT. sister, Jeanette Becz of Vernon, NJ, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12th from 4:00-8:00 PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.
Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 13th at St. Joseph’s Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, Inc., 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
