Stephen A. Spiak of Warwick, NY a retired maintenance supervisor for Grant Hardware, Nyack, NY entered into rest Thursday August 25, 2011. He was 93. The son of the late Anthony and Eva Wasko Spiak he was born May 1, 1918 in Yonkers, NY. Stephen was a WWII Army Veteran, and a life member of Warwick VFW Post 4662. Survivors include his wife Irene Skuta Spiak, son Raymond Spiak and his wife Loretta of New Hampton, grandson Michael Spiak, brother Pete Spiak, sister Helen Spiak and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 30, 2011 from 10 am – 11am at T.S. Purta Funeral Home 22 Glenmere Ave. Florida, NY 10921.VFW services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be held 11 AM on Tuesday August 30, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Warwick Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Warwick VFW Post 4662 PO Box 261 Warwick, NY 10990 or to Alzheimer's Association P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011
