Josephine Golemboski of Slate Hill, NY, formerly of Lake Wales, Florida and Florida, NY entered into rest on Thursday, October13, 2011. She was 82. The daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine Sawicki she was born August 26, 1929 in Bronx, NY. She was pre-deceased in July by her loving husband of 59 years Harry "Jerry" Golemboski . She is survived by her son, Stephen Golemboski & his wife Valerie of Albany, NY, daughter, Mary Alice Conway of Slate Hill, NY; along with 2 grandchildren, Kristin & Brandon Conway; 1 sister Alice Mawhinney; sister-in-law Jennie Sawicki; and several nieces and nephews.
She was pre deceased by 2 brothers, Frank and Stanley ; and 2 sisters Stephanie and Florence.
Visitation will be held on Saturday October 15, 2011 from 1-3 pm at T.S. Purta Funeral Home 22 Glenmere Ave. Florida, NY 10921. Memorial service will be held 2:30 pm on Saturday at the Funeral Home .
