William "Willy" Plecan of New Hampton, NY, a retired self employed produce farmer, entered into rest Friday December 30, 2011. He was 87.
The son of the late Michael and Frances Slowinski Plecan, he was born February 22, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY.
He was a member of the Middletown Elks Lodge.
Survivors include his son, William M. Plecan and wife Helen of New Hampton, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by his wife Gwendolyn Plecan, and his daughter Barbara Plecan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday January 5, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home 690 Co. Rt. 1 Pine Island, NY 10969.
Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM on Friday January 6, 2012 at St. Stanislaus Church Pine Island, NY.
Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery Pine Island, NY.
