Obituary of Loretta Kolodziejski

Loretta Straub Kolodziejski, a lifelong resident of Florida, NY, entered into rest on May 10, 2012 in ORMC, Middletown, NY. She was 88. The daughter of the late Lawrence Straub & Anna Gailie Straub, she was born on June 12, 1923 in Florida, NY. Loretta was formerly employed by the Warwick Valley Dispatch. She was also a founding member and past president of a camping club called the Country Cousins and a charter member of the Florida Senior Citizens. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Chester Kolodziejski; son, Larry (Laura) Kolodziejski, daughter, Lori (Peter) Joyce; son-in-law, David Birch. She has seven loving grandchildren; Alison (Jason) DePalo, Corey Walsh, Andy & Krista Kolodziejski, Joseph, Susan & Mark Joyce. She was predeceased by her daughter, Arlene Birch and grandson Patrick Joyce. There will be no public visitation. A funeral mass will be held 12:00Noon on Monday, May 14th at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Florida, NY. In lieu flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Florida Fire & Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 600, Florida, NY 10921.
