Bertha Kleveno of Pine Island, NY a retired assembly worker for Avon Products, Suffern, NY entered into rest on Monday, August 04, 2014 at Schervier Pavilion, Warwick, NY. She was 94. The daughter of the late Philip Schadt & Anna Marie Fisher, she was born on January 14, 1920 in Edenville, NY. She was a member of the Pine Island Bible Church, Pine Island, NY Survivors include her daughter, Allegra Towner & companion Tom of Monticello, NY; 3 sons, Ronald "Whitey" Kleveno and wife Susan of Warwick, NY; Richard Kleveno and wife Donna of Myrtle Beach, SC; Randy Kleveno, Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter in law, Rosalie Kleveno of Vernon, NJ and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sister, Anna Henderson of Warwick, NY. She was predeceased by her husband David Kleveno; son, Robert Kleveno and 2 Grandsons; 5 brothers & 5 sisters. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th from 4-8PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 690 County Route# 1, Pine Island, NY 10969. Funeral services will be held 10AM Friday, August 8th at the funeral home. The Reverend John Lashuay will officiate. Burial will be Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, NY Memorial Contributions may be made to Pine Island Volunteer Ambulance Corps, PO Box 264, Pine Island, NY 10969, the Pine Island Bible Church, 9 Little Brooklyn Road, Warwick, NY 10990 or to the Pulaski Fire Company, PO Box 322, Pine Island, NY 10969.
