Obituary of Susan E. Schmick

Susan E. Schmick of Westtown,NY entered into rest on Monday, February 4, 2013 in ORMC, Middletown. She was 68. Susan was a retired shipping supervisor for Zircar, Florida, NY. The daughter of the late Howard Dare and Alice Olsen Dare Brindle , she was born on January 26, 1945 in Orange, NJ. She is survived by her husband Eugene E. Schmick Sr. at home; 2 sons Eugene E. Schmick Jr. and his wife Kerrie, of Westtown; Richard Schmick and his wife Heather of Westtown; 2 granddaughters Meghan Ford and her husband Brett; Brittany Schmick and her fiance' Anthony Klein; great grandchildren Calleigh, Abigail, and Zoe Ford, and Logan Klein; sister in law Linda Dare; and also several additional sister in laws, brother in laws , nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her step father William Brindle; brothers Stephen Dare and Edward Dare. Visitation will be held on Friday February 8, 2013 from 4-8 PM at T.S. Purta Funeral Home 690 Co. Rt. 1 Pine Island, NY 10969. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home at 12 PM on Saturday with a funeral service to be held at 1pm. Burial will follow in Unionville Cemetery, Unionville, NY.
